A 60-second product launch video for a concept Spotify feature that matches users through shared music taste. I helped design the UX concept, co-produced the ad, edited the video, and composited UI into live-action footage.
The Video
Spot for Spotify reimagines Spotify as a social discovery tool, matching users based on listening compatibility through a swipe-based interaction. I designed the full concept (user flows, UI screens, interaction patterns) and then co-produced a product launch ad to sell the idea — shooting on location, compositing the UI into live footage, designing typography overlays, and cutting the final edit. The video walks through the core loop: discover someone through music taste, explore their profile, match.
The Concept
The feature introduces music-based matching into Spotify's existing interface. Users discover people through listening compatibility, explore shared artists and genres on their profile, and connect through a swipe interaction.
